Main pool

The most prominent feature of the Burlington Swim and Tennis Club is the big pool. The pool is configured with six lanes for official swimming competitions.

In order to swim beyond the floats, ALL swimmers must pass a deep-end swim test administered by one of our certified lifeguards.

Pool Hours
The Big Pool is open during all club hours. Use is restricted as noted below:

• Swim Team: 8:00am-10:00am (M-F)
• Swim Lessons: 10:00am-12:00pm (M-Sat)
• Adult Swim (16yrs or older):
  • every day from 4:00-4:20 p.m.
  • M-F from 8:00-8:30 a.m.
  • M-Th from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (one lane)
• Home Swim Meets: as scheduled

Pool rules

• Untrained and/or diapered babies (including swim diapers) are NOT PERMITTED in the pool.
• Persons with communicable diseases, open cuts or wearing non-waterproof band aids are not permitted in the pool.
• Only bathing suits may be worn in the pool.
• No tubes, balls, frisbees, floats, toys.
• No running, jumping, throwing, horseplay.
• No food, drink, gum, tobacco.
  
• Lifeguards have the authority to request anyone to take a swim test and/or to restrict access to the pool in accordance with safety considerations.
